Crédit Agricole at the 36th Finanzsymposium

Around 3,000 participants, 120 workshops and three event days full of inspiring impulses: this was the conclusion of the 36th Finanzsymposium in Mannheim today.

Amundi Germany and Crédit Agricole CIB were once again partners of the specialist congress for managers from the treasury and finance world in Europe. A strong team from both units exchanged ideas with numerous customers and interested parties at the Group’s joint stand and took advantage of the event’s many networking opportunities.

Interesting workshops

Crédit Agricole CIB managers also offered two interesting workshops as part of the event to share practical solutions with the participants:

Robert Vielhaber (Director Sustainable Banking Germany & Austria, Crédit Agricole CIB) gave a joint presentation with Daniel Huber (Team Head of Corporate Finance, voestalpine AG) on the topic of „voestalpine platziert den ersten Green Bond eines europäischen Stahlunternehmens“ (in English: “voestalpine places the first green bond of a European steel company”).

Global Markets colleagues Matthias Boehm (Managing Director – Head Corporate Sales) and Raffael Willi (Director – Corporate Sales) analyzed in „‚Kurz und schmerzlos‘? Zinsmanagement – diesmal auf der Anlageseite“ (in English: “‘Short and sweet’? Interest rate management – this time on the investment side”), they analyzed the development of interest rates in recent years and derived possible investment strategies.
